Going to school as an adult can be as frightening as the first day we started kindergarden. The little kid in us remembers the fear of the unknown as we entered the new classroom. However, as time went on, we learned to enjoy our new experience. Entering College can be just as tramatic as that first day of school. We don't know where our classes are, we don't know anyone in the class, and we certainly don't understand at the moment what is taught in class. We feel lost and uncomfortable, but remember it is in that uncomfortableness that we learn to grow.
GOOD LUCK NEW STUDENTS
FALL 2012
Diane,
ReplyDeleteI found your blog through Google. Since you are a math tutor, I thought you might be interested in the skip-counting card game Speed!
Speed! is a skip-counting card game that has been very successful helping children learn to multiply. It makes skip-counting loads of fun, and mastery of skip-counting makes multiplication easy.
